- A polished mid-range phone with a great display and dependable battery life
I’ve been using the Samsung Galaxy A57 5G as my everyday phone for messaging, calls, browsing, photos, social media, video streaming, maps, and a bit of light gaming. Overall, it feels like a very polished mid-range phone, especially if you want a big screen, reliable battery life, and a clean Samsung experience without paying flagship prices.
The display is the strongest part for me. The 6.7-inch Super AMOLED Plus screen looks bright, sharp, and smooth, so watching videos, scrolling through apps, and reading online feels comfortable. It also feels more premium than many phones in this price range.
Battery life has been reliable too. With normal daily use, I can usually get through the day without worrying about charging. The phone also feels slim and easy to handle, even though it has a large screen.
The cameras are good for everyday use. Daylight photos look sharp and colorful, and the main camera with OIS helps when taking quick shots. However, low-light photos are still not flagship-level, and the macro camera feels less useful than the main and ultrawide cameras.
Performance is smooth for normal tasks. Apps open quickly, multitasking is fine, and the phone handles daily use without many slowdowns. However, I would not buy it mainly for heavy gaming or demanding video editing. It is fast enough for most people, but it is still a mid-range phone.
Overall, the Galaxy A57 5G is a strong choice if you care about display quality, battery life, durability, and long-term software support. It is not perfect, but it feels dependable, modern, and easy to recommend.

Great display and battery life, but the cameras still feel mid-range

I’ve been using the Samsung Galaxy A57 5G as my everyday phone for calls, messaging, browsing, social media, maps, photos, video streaming, and some light gaming. Overall, it feels like a well-balanced mid-range phone with a very good screen, strong battery life, and the familiar Samsung software experience.
The display is the highlight for me. It looks bright, sharp, and smooth, so scrolling through apps, watching videos, and reading online feels comfortable. It gives the phone a more premium feel than I expected in this price range.
Battery life has also been dependable. With normal use, I can usually get through a full day without worrying too much about charging. The build quality feels solid as well, although it still does not feel quite as premium as Samsung’s flagship phones.
Performance is good for daily use. Apps open quickly, multitasking is smooth enough, and I haven’t noticed major slowdowns in normal tasks. However, I would not buy this mainly for heavy gaming or demanding video editing. It is fast, but not flagship-fast.
